Yard Flowers

April 10, 2021 Nature

Spring – when flowers grab my attention and remind me of nature’s renewal. I enjoy both wild and tame flowers. This is my ode to the flowers in my yard over the years.

This gallery has ~55 photos of yard flowers from the last 4 years or so:

I like to think of my front yard as being in a semi-wild state – it has established/planned plants, as well as patches of wild plants grown from sprinkled seeds or happenstance.

Here are a few select roses. The rose plants are old and don’t look great yet they still produce stunning flowers.

And a few top poppies (golden yellow/orange/red California Poppy, red Corn Poppy and pastel Opium Poppy).
